You Can Move Faster

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Moving forward in a very slow manner may not give the desired momentum you require to arrive at the opportune time in history and destiny at your divine destination because you may arrive too late and not make the desired impact that could have made history.

Therefore, redo, fix up, and renovate what needs fixing up to get things up and working so that you can move faster. This simply means that you should develop momentum, gain momentum, regain some momentum, in point of fact, great momentum and move at the pace God designed you to move at so that you can arrive at divine destination in record divine timing. No one gets awards for snail paces that lead nowhere. They are not even an indication of holiness or righteous living but simply an indication of laziness or ignorance about how to acquire divine speed.

Therefore, retire the baby steps you have long over grown and begin to walk like a general; a general in the warfront and not a general at a desk. This is because there is still so much more ground to break and so much more to accomplish. Therefore, move faster and work smarter not to catch up but to accomplish divine purpose. There is no point taking unaccomplished divine purpose to the grave. It does not give any laurels in heaven. Step it up and gain significant momentum. You need it urgently, in fact, yesterday and not now. Therefore make up for lost time.

Rule Your World

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

To be successful in life, you have to be ruled by the word of God. Do not allow dreams especially satanically manipulated dreams, visions and circumstances rule your life. Rather, let your life be ruled by the undiluted word of God; the word of God that gives life, direction, favor, wealth, etc.

Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Founder and Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre has been ruling his world and will continue to do so because he knows the secret to doing do. Though greatly anointed of God, he was divinely instructed to use mass media to announce himself to the world and he obeyed God. He became a city set on a hill which was not hidden. He became greatly sought after, famous, wealthy, honored, more anointed, more knowledgeable, and more generous with the grace of God in his life. And significantly, he became successful as he shared the secrets of success God shared with him to many people through his radio program Success Power. Significantly, he did not wait until he was mega successful before sharing the secrets of success. He faithfully shared what God taught him; trusting God to make him and his listeners successful. He is a true success story. The people he impacted and still impacts are also success stories. Today, he is on television and online as well in addition to running a leadership development institute. He is and keeps expanding on all sides.

Beloved, refuse to be caged! Share your gifts with the world through available media that is convenient for you. The World Wide Web and its numerous platforms are available to you and significantly, you do not have to spend a fortune. A number of young people are making millions and billions from using the World Wide Web to share information, skills and expertise. Do not be caged and left out because you are looking for brick and mortar to become a success story. Do not be caged by anyone or institution that wants you to serve like Jacob in Laban’s house. Find your divine exits out of such captivity fast. You are a city set on a hill and you can announce yourself to the world through social media and become you, designed from the foundation of the world to be a blessing and a great success story. You are an achiever, so designed by God to impact humanity. Therefore, get out of the backside of the desert into the klieg lights. Let the word of God guide you and give you the required light you need in Jesus mighty name.

Cash in on Opportunities

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The blind man who sat by the road begging near Jericho understood the full import of cashing in on opportunities. He realized that certain opportunities do not present themselves every day. He therefore took ample advantage of the opportunity of Jesus passing by him because he knew that Jesus in His earthly ministry may not likely pass by him a second time. He therefore utilized the one time life opportunity of meeting with Jesus Christ to achieve a life time goal of receiving his sight. Significantly, the blind man was expectant that Jesus would give him back his sight. He also believed that Jesus had the power and would be willing to restore his sight. If only he could come near Jesus. Fortunately for him, the great opportunity came as Jesus traveled to Jericho.

The blind man could definitely not see Jesus and he probably had no one to lead him to Jesus. Rather than lament and hold a pity party about what he lacked, he chose to utilize what he had in great measure – his voice and mouth to great advantage.

But he could hear and so heard the noise of multitudes moving around him. He asked people around what the noise was all about and they informed him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. What an opportunity! Though he could not see, he could shout. Definitely, Jesus could hear him. So the blind man raised his voice and cried out for mercy to Jesus. Though people tried to restrain him urging him to be quiet, he shouted the more to gain Jesus’ attention. Significantly, Jesus granted him audience and his life time goal was achieved as his sight was restored.

Beloved, the hitherto blind man had little or nothing at his disposal to deal with the challenge of visual impairment. But rather than blame anyone or circumstances, he worked at getting out of the predicament which made him a beggar.

God is Love

Roses are red, Violets are blue is going to be a sing song today and all through the weekend as the world celebrates love. But say what is true love?

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us. 1 John 4:7-12 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3 New King James Version (NKJV)

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John Chapter 3 verse 16.

God loves you dearly and paid the price for your salvation. As you celebrate valentine's day, remember that the greatest love you will ever get is the love of God. Enjoy.

Stand on the Promises of God 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Forgiveness of Sins
God loves you and desires to forgive you whatever sins the enemy deceived you into committing. That is one of the reasons Jesus Christ died for you, to separate you from and deliver you from sin. However, sin must be repented of to be forgiven. Please see 1st John Chapter 1 verses 8 to 10

Longevity
Longevity is the will of God for believers. Do not allow the devil deceive you into untimely death by accepting that sickness is of God to test you, or that you are bearing a burden for someone. Ask God for healing and deliverance if you are sick. It is significant to note that David prayed for healing and deliverance in life threatening situations. Please, see Psalm 71 verses 9 to 18.

Many saints such as the Apostle Paul (Philemon 9), Abraham (Genesis Chapters 24 verse 1 and 25 verses 7 to 8), Isaac (Genesis Chapter 27 verse 1, 35 verses 28 to 29), Job (Job Chapters 5 verses 25 to 26; 42 verses 16 to 17), David (1st Chronicles Chapter 29 verses 26 to 28, 1st Kings Chapter 1 verses 1 to 4), Jehoiada the Priest (2nd Chronicles Chapter 24 verses 15 to 16), Daniel, Nehemiah, Mordecai, Solomon (1st Kings Chapter 11) and many others in the Bible lived long and died in old age to be with the Lord. Pease see also Psalm 71 verses 9 to 18, 1st Kings Chapter 1 verse 1 and Proverbs Chapter 28 verse 16, Proverbs Chapter 10 verse 27, Proverbs Chapter 28 verse 16 and Psalm 41.

Gain Altitude

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

To gain altitude is to rise above certain levels beyond sea level. Planes gain altitude. So also do birds. In like manner, a person can also gain altitude in the journey of life. Such ascents could be spiritual, physical, mental or even financial. Therefore, gain attitude in knowledge, understanding, wisdom, relationships despite what the enemy whose major agenda is to prevent you from rising may do. Remember that believers are often targets of satanic opposition.
Altitude takes you ahead of the pack. One of the ways to gain altitude is to be financially resourceful and savvy so that you can manage financial resources to advantage and expansion.
Also make very determined and conscious efforts on a daily basis to become the global change agent God created you to be. Stop fighting battles that are not yours especially insignificant battles that will move you nowhere.

Use the current resources at your disposal to move from where you are now to where God wants you to be. One of such resources is the word of God. The word of God has the capacity to elevate you and take out of the dust and ash heap as well as obscure positions of life to significance, relevance, dominance, limelight, favor, wealth and abundant life that Jesus Christ purchased for you with His precious blood. Please see John Chapter 10 verse 10.  Jesus Christ used the existing structures and platforms of the religious establishment of the day. He taught the people in their synagogues, preached from boats, on mountain tops, from street corners, healed on the streets and cast out demons on the streets. He did not wait to own or rent cathedrals before doing the work of the kingdom. How about financial autonomy? Was He dependent on the tithes and offerings of the people? Not at all! The religious establishment of the day did not acknowledge and recognize Him as a Priest, Prophet or Levite so he was exempt from the benefits of the tithe. Also, Jesus did not request for such tithes. Yet, He led and fed not only His disciples but the multitudes who followed Him. He also did not shirk His civic responsibilities. He paid taxes. How did He make the money? He asked Peter to go fishing to get the money. This implies that you can make money from your skills, talents and areas of expertise. The women who supported His ministry with their money and other resources were an additional source of income.

God Can Do It Again

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power [belongeth] unto God. Psalm 62 verse 11.
For with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke Chapter 1 verse 37.

God can and will do it again; not necessarily because He wants to please you, prove to you that He is God (He does not need to do that, God is God and He is Almighty, all power belongs to Him and everything created, located wherever in the universe submits to Him and bows to His Lordship because He is God). What is impossible with humans is possible with God. God does not tell lies, is not partial and is not intimidated, by anyone or anything. Rather He cares; He loves you with a love you cannot understand and fathom its depth until you probably find yourself in Christ’s eternity.

Beloved, God loves you and needs you so that you can fulfill His high purpose designed to do you good and uplift you from the dungeons of life that the enemy of your soul wants you bound to. That is why the enemy keeps you in the miry clay of life so you will believe his lies that God does not love you and wants you to remain in the miry clay. But the truth is that God wants you out of that miry clay as fast as you are willing to get out of it if only you will allow Him to help you do it. Getting out of the miry clay is like getting out of quick sands; extremely always difficult and in most cases, always impossible except God intervenes.

The Consequences of Ignorance

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The consequences of ignorance are better not imagined. While education is said to be expensive, ignorance is even more expensive considering the unpleasant consequences of ignorance. Some of them are:

Captivity which occurs because an ignorant person or persons lack direction and lack of direction leads to captivity as in the case of the Israelites described in Isaiah Chapter 5 verse 13. They had no idea where to go and even if they had an idea of where to go, they had absolutely no idea how to get there and they ended up in captivity.

Hunger – even the honorable men amongst them who ideally should have had abundance suffered hunger because there was no food for them. Beloved, can you imagine what the commoners would suffer if their honorable men suffered hunger? Famine! This is to say that famine can be occasioned by ignorance.

Flourish in the Perfect Will of God

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

One of the cardinal key of success is to know God’s will for your life. Please see Colossians Chapter 1 verse 9 and Ephesians Chapter 1 verse 9. God’s will is a mystery. This is because  it is often difficult to understand. Though mysterious, God has made provision to unravel His will.
One of such ways is through the communion. Please see Luke Chapter 24 verse 35, and 1st John Chapter 1 verses 1 to 3. There are critical issues in a person’s life that cannot decided with the five senses. You need the revelation knowledge of God to decide critical issues in your life. The will of God for a person’s life cannot be determined with the naked eyes. It takes the revelation knowledge of God. To do so is a function of knowledge – John Chapter 5 verse 19, Matthew Chapter 6 verse 10. Revelation guides actions, decisions, and choices that a person makes in life. You do not live by instinct as a child of God – Luke Chapter 24 verse 30 to 31, 34, 35, Matthew Chapter 28 verse 26, Genesis Chapter 3, Psalm 90 verse 8, Hebrews Chapter 4 verse 13, Ephesians Chapter 5 verse 13, John Chapter 5 verse 19.

Another way is through the revelation knowledge of the word of God. Please see John Chapter 8 verse 32, Luke Chapter 24 verses 33 and 45.

God’s perfect will denotes His master plan – Ephesians Chapter 1 verses 9 to 11, Romans Chapter 12 verse 2.. God’s perfect will is absolute and unchangeable - Psalm 33 verse 11, Matthew Chapter 6 verse 10.  When things happening in your life on earth are consistent with what is happening in heaven; then you are in the perfect will of God. The perfect will of God is the place where God wants you to be. And when you call on God here, He answers you. God’s will has to be acceptable before it is perfect.

Open Heavens

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Open doors, open windows
Opportunities, platforms, springboards, launchpads
So many of them to choose from
How do I tell which is mine?
How do I know which one to walk through?
Salvation, hell, poverty, wealth, obedience, disobedience
Then I hear His voice
This is the way;
I am the Way, the Truth and the Life
Come in through My door and have life and all that pertains to life and godliness.

Open the heavens, my father
Pour out your abundant grace
Grace to obey You
To be diligent, excel
And bring glory to Your name.

Purge my heart of everything
That stands against Your will
And free me to receive
Abundant grace
That transforms and elevates.

Enrich my heart with Your word
Fill me afresh with Your Spirit
Empower me to obey You
Love You and harvest souls

Save the lost and dying
To populate heaven
Fulfill the great commission
And bring glory to Your name.

Break with the Past

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Break with the past. Do not allow the past to hold you back. Do not expend your energy trying to fix what does not work. The past cannot be changed. Stop holding on to the past; do not allow your past bleed into your present to change your future. Do not allow the past to misdirect your life. The potential, the success inside you is greater than the previous and present successes you have experienced – Isaiah Chapter 43 verses 18 to 19.Therefore, do not let either past successes or adversity stop you from being the best you can be. Don’t let life make you change your name. Simply learn the lessons required from the past.

Be optimistic. Trust God when it looks like things are going backwards. Get to the point where you can trust God to let things go. It takes great peace to accept the times you are in. You may be aborting your own prophecies because you are trying to save what God has already cut off. Some blessings are seasonal blessings and once such seasons are over, you let go. God brings people into your life to do certain things. When their assignment is over, let them go and move on. The plan is a process leading to the purpose. Therefore, celebrate the new relationships in your life as well as what God is doing in your life now.

Prepare for Tomorrow

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Everything God created exists in time and everything God created has a purpose and a season (the time frame for the implementation of that purpose). The season is the time for improvement and the time to move your life forward. When a season is missed, there is usually a problem with change. There is a correlation between time and purpose. God in His infinite wisdom gives the exact amount of time to fulfill a purpose. When the time expires, it is assumed that the purpose is fulfilled but when the purpose is not fulfilled, a person becomes a victim of change and carries over a purpose. The issue of how time is used is therefore very critical. If you are caught up in a new season with carried over purpose, it means that you mismanaged time and when time is mismanaged, purpose and destiny is mismanaged.

Time is an equal opportunity employer. Some people use it wisely while others fritter it. Unfortunately, time cannot be managed, recouped, saved or created. Rather it is our lives that can be managed to achieve divine purpose and success. People who achieve much in life are likely to be those who make efficient use of their time. Conversely is the case with those who waste time. Effective use of time correlates with purpose. What separates successful disciples of Jesus Christ is the way they use their time.

Time, a rather limited resource is a resource given for the actualization of purpose, a resource to create value and wealth. Time is effectively used when time is used to achieve divine purpose. It is therefore a colossal waste of time to pursue things contrary to divine purpose. Man lives by purpose and not instinct. Purpose is the precursor of success. What then is the value of all the ever busy you if the ever busy you is not achieving divine purpose and success.  The model of Jesus Christ teaches on how to manage time effectively.  When it came to spending time, Jesus was conscious of His purpose. Jesus used time to achieve divine purpose and that purpose guided what He did, who He spent time with and what He spent time on. Please see John Chapters 12 verse 27, 9 verse 4, 4 verse 34 and 17 verse 4. He glorified God by finishing the work He was assigned to do on earth.
