Identify and Deploy Your Launch Pads as Leverages

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men. Proverbs Chapter 18 verse 16

Every human being created by God has divine or what you may call natural leverages divinely given by God to elevate the person in his or her life. The challenge usually is knowing and understanding that you have leverages. So the start point is getting to know and understanding what leverages are; identifying your own leverages and deploying them to advantage. What then is leverage? Leverage according to the Longman Contemporary Dictionary of English is the influence that you can use to make people do what you want.

Talents, skills and expertise, what I like to refer to as divine intellectual property most often serve as launch pads into divine greatness if properly deployed into divine purposes and activities. This is to say that talents, skills, and expertise are divinely designed to move a person to greatness, affluence, fame and honor progressively, from point A to point B if they are intelligently used as leverages. Ideally, they are meant to be used as launch pads to leapfrog present positions to higher positions. To some extent, they are leverages. Joseph could interpret dreams. He used the ability to interpret dreams which launched him into Pharaoh’s presence as leverage to become Prime Minister in the land of Egypt.

Why You Should Exercise Dominion

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The sum total of what I do with TIME
Sleep, eat, laze about or work
Or jest, gossip, curse
Or study the WORD, meditate the Word
Worship God in quality praise
Ascribe honor to Him Who gives me dominion
Or feed my eyes and mind on worthless things
Dominion, how I invest or fritter time

Dominion is the birthright of every child of God. God created you to have dominion. It was not an afterthought. Please see Genesis Chapter 1 verse 28. To exercise dominion is be masters, to rule and exercise control. Beloved, God created you to rule, to exercise control over His creation. Please read up Psalm 8 verse 6, Genesis Chapter 1 verse 28, 1st Kings Chapter 4 verse 24, Psalm 110 verse 2, Proverbs Chapter 4 verses 23 to 24, 1st Peter Chapter 1 verse 13, Luke Chapter 10 verse 19 for details and Holy Spirit inspired insight.

You need faith in God to exercise dominion. Therefore, anchor your faith in God and not people, resources or circumstances. The word of God is a major component of the Christian faith which explains why you should exercise your faith on the basis of the word of God. Please read 1st John Chapter 5 verses 1 to 12. Christians are to walk by faith and not by sight as instructed in Hebrews Chapter 10 verse 38, 11 verses 1 to 40, Habakkuk Chapter 2 verse 4, and Romans Chapter 10 verse 17. The word of God is what builds your faith.

You Can Move Faster

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Moving forward in a very slow manner may not give the desired momentum you require to arrive at the opportune time in history and destiny at your divine destination because you may arrive too late and not make the desired impact that could have made history.

Therefore, redo, fix up, and renovate what needs fixing up to get things up and working so that you can move faster. This simply means that you should develop momentum, gain momentum, regain some momentum, in point of fact, great momentum and move at the pace God designed you to move at so that you can arrive at divine destination in record divine timing. No one gets awards for snail paces that lead nowhere. They are not even an indication of holiness or righteous living but simply an indication of laziness or ignorance about how to acquire divine speed.

Therefore, retire the baby steps you have long over grown and begin to walk like a general; a general in the warfront and not a general at a desk. This is because there is still so much more ground to break and so much more to accomplish. Therefore, move faster and work smarter not to catch up but to accomplish divine purpose. There is no point taking unaccomplished divine purpose to the grave. It does not give any laurels in heaven. Step it up and gain significant momentum. You need it urgently, in fact, yesterday and not now. Therefore make up for lost time.

Rule Your World

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

To be successful in life, you have to be ruled by the word of God. Do not allow dreams especially satanically manipulated dreams, visions and circumstances rule your life. Rather, let your life be ruled by the undiluted word of God; the word of God that gives life, direction, favor, wealth, etc.

Pastor Sam Adeyemi, Founder and Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre has been ruling his world and will continue to do so because he knows the secret to doing do. Though greatly anointed of God, he was divinely instructed to use mass media to announce himself to the world and he obeyed God. He became a city set on a hill which was not hidden. He became greatly sought after, famous, wealthy, honored, more anointed, more knowledgeable, and more generous with the grace of God in his life. And significantly, he became successful as he shared the secrets of success God shared with him to many people through his radio program Success Power. Significantly, he did not wait until he was mega successful before sharing the secrets of success. He faithfully shared what God taught him; trusting God to make him and his listeners successful. He is a true success story. The people he impacted and still impacts are also success stories. Today, he is on television and online as well in addition to running a leadership development institute. He is and keeps expanding on all sides.

Beloved, refuse to be caged! Share your gifts with the world through available media that is convenient for you. The World Wide Web and its numerous platforms are available to you and significantly, you do not have to spend a fortune. A number of young people are making millions and billions from using the World Wide Web to share information, skills and expertise. Do not be caged and left out because you are looking for brick and mortar to become a success story. Do not be caged by anyone or institution that wants you to serve like Jacob in Laban’s house. Find your divine exits out of such captivity fast. You are a city set on a hill and you can announce yourself to the world through social media and become you, designed from the foundation of the world to be a blessing and a great success story. You are an achiever, so designed by God to impact humanity. Therefore, get out of the backside of the desert into the klieg lights. Let the word of God guide you and give you the required light you need in Jesus mighty name.

Wake Up the Giant 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Gideon was a sleeping giant; a man divinely endowed with all it took to end the oppression of Israel by Midian. Ironically, Gideon was hiding in a wine press to thresh wheat because he was afraid of the Midianites, the same people he was divinely chosen and endowed with strength to defeat to end their intimidation and harassment as well as oppression of Israel. Fortunately, God woke Gideon up from his slumber with words designed to awaken Gideon to who he was. And thereafter, Israel was free of Midianite harassment and oppression for several years. Please see Judges Chapters 6 to 7.

Naomi was a sleeping giant. She slept for a long while after the deaths of her husband and her two sons. But she woke up to the reality of her roots and decided to return to her home land. Fortunately, the famine which took her to Moab where she lost her husband and son was over. So she returned to Israel, however in the company of her beloved daughter in-law Ruth who loved her. Though they arrived in Israel without financial resources, the culture of gleaning favored them as Ruth went out to glean. But for how long were they going to live off gleaning? Naomi suddenly woke up the huge potentials before them through remarriage of the younger widow to a close relative. So Naomi instructed Ruth on what to do to become the wife of Boaz. Thereafter, they became the co-owners of Boaz’ farm, where Ruth had gone gleaning in the past so they could have food on their table. Ruth no longer had to glean to feed them both. Rather, people worked on their farms and they were served.

Wake Up the Giant

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Giants should not be allowed to sleep because they usually sleep for too long; in point of fact, far too long to remember to wake up at just the right time. Another reason why giants sleep for far too long is that people are usually afraid to wake up the giant because a giant awake and alert to his or her responsibilities is a threat to the opposition. Samson was a giant in quote – he had the spiritual and physical prowess to intimidate the Philistines and bring to a great halt the harassment of Israel by the Philistines. The Philistines were so intimidated by Samson that rather than enlist the support of other nations to fight Israel as a whole, the Philistines deployed huge resources to eliminate Samson  because they knew that if Samson was eliminated, it would be over for Israel and they could walk rough shod on Israel for as long as they wanted to.

Unfortunately, Samson lacked personal discipline and spiritual discernment despite the great unction of God upon Him coupled with his unrivaled physical prowess. He therefore fell for the wiles of deceitful Delilah and for a long time, Samson slept the sleep of death. Please see Psalm 13 verse 3. Samson was harassed, humiliated and even blinded by the Philistines. Why bother to blind him?

The ability to see is very important in daily life and when that is taken away, you may require assistance to carry out most tasks. Additionally, you cannot see the divine beauties God created in the Universe. And if a giant cannot see, how will the giant walk around to intimidate anyone? Rather, S/he would be a slave. So Samson was enslaved at the mill grinding stuff for the Philistines. But Samson did not give up for in the long run, He did wake up; and destroyed hundreds and thousands of Philistines at a go. But he would have achieved much more if only he was disciplined.

Beloved, losing spiritual visions, business visions, family visions, career visions, academic visions, financial visions, parental visions; in point of fact, vision of any kind is as bad if not worse than losing physical vision. Once you lose clear vision of what you are called to do and where you are headed in life, you will no longer see the beauty and glory of that vision. Rather, you will become satisfied with visions that are not yours but which appear to be great and over time you will immerse yourself in those visions and unfortunately end up in slavery. Please see Genesis Chapter 49 verse 14.

Issachar had great potentials but lost them when he lost his vision to a vision which appeared to be great. Issachar was divinely endowed with the leadership strength of knowing what Israel ought to do at any point in time. In point of fact, that was a great strength as Issachar provided direction and leadership influence so to speak for Israel. Issachar was a leader, a giant in leadership yet because Issachar became enchanted by the beautiful surroundings he found himself in, Issachar gave up his leadership role and submitted to forced labor. In point of fact, he became a slave, a band of slaves because he had committed his children to slavery. Perhaps, becoming a band of slaves was what Issachar required to wake up from his folly because in the book of 1st Chronicles Chapter 12 verse 32, the Bible records that the sons of Issachar had woken up to their calling and were providing direction for Israel. The sleeping giant had woken up.
