Break with the past. Do not allow the past to hold
you back. Do not expend your energy trying to fix what does not work. The past
cannot be changed. Stop holding on to the past; do not allow your past bleed
into your present to change your future. Do not allow the past to misdirect
your life. The potential, the success inside you is greater than the previous
and present successes you have experienced – Isaiah Chapter 43 verses 18 to
19.Therefore, do not let either past successes or adversity stop you from being
the best you can be. Don’t let life make you change your name. Simply learn the
lessons required from the past.
Be optimistic. Trust God when it looks like things
are going backwards. Get to the point where you can trust God to let things go.
It takes great peace to accept the times you are in. You may be aborting your
own prophecies because you are trying to save what God has already cut off.
Some blessings are seasonal blessings and once such seasons are over, you let
go. God brings people into your life to do certain things. When their
assignment is over, let them go and move on. The plan is a process leading to
the purpose. Therefore, celebrate the new relationships in your life as well as
what God is doing in your life now.
