Be You and Succeed

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Take off the silly mask and be yourself. Be the loving caring person you were created to be. Love gives. Think openness. Dream, love, do not give in to apathy. Joseph never stopped dreaming, never stopped loving. No wonder he emerged into the plans and purposes of God for his life

Be intimate with God, which is investing in a fervent relationship with God because that is the right thing to do. Do not pretend to be a Christian because your friends or family members are. Be a Christian because Christ died for you. Also, the one person you should know intimately is God who has power over everything. No one can stand against you when God is for you.

Follow through on God’s call for your life if you have the call of God. Do not imitate others in the quest for money. God is more powerful than money. Your present economic condition does not determine where you are going to. Rather, it is the call of God that you respond to that will take you to God’s ordained heights for you. The Biblical Joseph chose the call of God. He got to the top position and had money in abundance. Be the GIFT He created you to be to the world and bring His healing and blessings to all who you come in contact with.

Do not pretend to be who you are not. Do not try to impress anyone. Be who you are. Be yourself. God assesses people on the basis of what He asks them to do.

Build and Enhance Your Capacity for Success

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Success does not fall on anyone like a bag of cherries. It is also not a catch phrase to be thrown around. Success comes by being engaged in divine purposes that are built,  enhanced and consolidated over a period of time.

Every vision or idea is a function of capacity. That is to say that capacity precedes the implementation of every idea or vision. For every assignment, there must be relevant capacity from heaven to carry out the task. This is because visions are driven on the basis of capacity and not passion. Passion is not a substitute for capacity as a lack of capacity will show up in capacity gaps as you implement your ideas or vision without adequate capacity.

A person’s capacity acquired or received is a measure of a person’s gifted ability to perform a task or assignment. Therefore, always evaluate your capacity to midwife a vision or assignment to a successful end. Have sufficient capacity before embarking on implementation. If you discover that you lack capacity, or your capacity requires strengthening then be willing to put your vision on hold until you have sufficient capacity to midwife the vision. It is a misconception to think that capacity comes with the vision. The vision comes and then you receive the capacity to implement the vision by beginning a process of capacity acquisition through capacity building and strengthening activities based on your capacity evaluation. Please see Luke Chapter 14 verse 28.

Bask in His Favor

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Favor comes from God and significantly, the favor of God comes with numerous blessings that elevate a person from the ash heap of life to limelight, significance and honor. Esther was favored by God and became Queen. The favor of God elevates. Therefore, take advantage of God’s favor in your life to do exploits that will elevate you beyond your present position in life.
The favor of God comes with myriad blessings that are spiritual, physical, mental, financial, intellectual, etc. Beloved, God does not consult human beings before blessing His children with favor. He gives His favor to those who fear Him and honor Him. Keep loving Him and honoring Him so that you will experience immeasurable favor from Him. You will also be favored by God to become who God created you to be.

The favor of God also comes with the divine responsibility of accomplishing divine purposes. A number of young people enjoyed the favor of God in the Bible but they also used the favor to accomplish great things for God. Joseph, Daniel, Esther and Nehemiah were greatly favored by God and served the purposes of God for their lives.

As a child of God, you are divinely favored to do exploit for God and humanity through the gifts of God in you. Therefore, maximize the gifts of God in you and succeed through the favor of God so that you become an inspiration and blessing to other people. Start today what you have to do and experience God’s encompassing favor as you step out in faith. Do not neglect the gift that is in you…. 1st Timothy Chapter 4 verse 14.

Break with the Past

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Break with the past. Do not allow the past to hold you back. Do not expend your energy trying to fix what does not work. The past cannot be changed. Stop holding on to the past; do not allow your past bleed into your present to change your future. Do not allow the past to misdirect your life. The potential, the success inside you is greater than the previous and present successes you have experienced – Isaiah Chapter 43 verses 18 to 19.Therefore, do not let either past successes or adversity stop you from being the best you can be. Don’t let life make you change your name. Simply learn the lessons required from the past.

Be optimistic. Trust God when it looks like things are going backwards. Get to the point where you can trust God to let things go. It takes great peace to accept the times you are in. You may be aborting your own prophecies because you are trying to save what God has already cut off. Some blessings are seasonal blessings and once such seasons are over, you let go. God brings people into your life to do certain things. When their assignment is over, let them go and move on. The plan is a process leading to the purpose. Therefore, celebrate the new relationships in your life as well as what God is doing in your life now.

Celebrate You

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Why?

You are fearfully and wonderfully made – Psalm 137 verses 14 to 18. This speaks of gratitude to God for who you are, how He created you and why He created you. David understood this and that explains he was unusually confident, celebrated himself and excelled, and prospered wherever he went. I pray that God will help you to see who you are so that you can place the right value on you and celebrate you accordingly in Jesus mighty name.

God loves you and gave up his only begotten son so that you can be reconciled to Him. Please see John Chapter 3 verse 16, 4 verses 9 to 11, 16, 19 and Jeremiah Chapter 31 verse 3.

You are special to God. Please see Deuteronomy Chapter 7 verses 6 to 8.

God is mindful of you and takes care of you. Please see Hebrews Chapter 2 verses 6 to 8, Psalm 8 verses 1 to 9.

God crowned you with glory and honor . Please see Psalm 8 verse 5.

God visits you to expand and increase you, restore life to you. Please see psalm 8 verse 4, Genesis Chapter 21 verse 1, Ruth Chapter 1 verse 6, Luke Chapter 1 verses 68, 78, 7 verse 16, 1st Samuel Chapter 2 verse 21.

God gave you dominion over the works of His hands. Please see Genesis Chapter 1 verses 26 to 28, Psalm 8 verses 6 to 9.

God inscribed you on the palms of His hands and your walls are continually before Him which explains why He cannot forget you. Please see Isaiah Chapters 49 verses 13 to 16, 44 verse 21 and 1st Samuel Chapter 1 verses 19 to 20.

Enhance Your Brand 1

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

A brand is the sum total of your true worth, capabilities and influence.  This includes your contacts – all the people you know that can support your brand. Your brand is wealth worth billions if only you know what to do with the brand.

The Presence of God is what you need to enhance your brand. To start with, you did not create your brand. God created you and your brand and He alone knows how you can enhance your brand. That is why you need His Presence in your life to enhance the brand. Besides, He designed that brand in you for a purpose and therefore knows best what you need to enhance that brand to suit the divine purpose for which He created that brand in you.

Jeremiah for instance was divinely designed as a prophet unto the nations and within the makeup of a prophet unto the nations are special characteristics required to function effectively in that brand. Jeremiah obviously had to develop and perfect those characteristics over time in order to be effective in that brand. To achieve this, Jeremiah had to depend on God completely to develop and perfect the characteristics that would enhance his brand as a prophet unto the nations.

Prepare for Tomorrow

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Everything God created exists in time and everything God created has a purpose and a season (the time frame for the implementation of that purpose). The season is the time for improvement and the time to move your life forward. When a season is missed, there is usually a problem with change. There is a correlation between time and purpose. God in His infinite wisdom gives the exact amount of time to fulfill a purpose. When the time expires, it is assumed that the purpose is fulfilled but when the purpose is not fulfilled, a person becomes a victim of change and carries over a purpose. The issue of how time is used is therefore very critical. If you are caught up in a new season with carried over purpose, it means that you mismanaged time and when time is mismanaged, purpose and destiny is mismanaged.

Time is an equal opportunity employer. Some people use it wisely while others fritter it. Unfortunately, time cannot be managed, recouped, saved or created. Rather it is our lives that can be managed to achieve divine purpose and success. People who achieve much in life are likely to be those who make efficient use of their time. Conversely is the case with those who waste time. Effective use of time correlates with purpose. What separates successful disciples of Jesus Christ is the way they use their time.

Time, a rather limited resource is a resource given for the actualization of purpose, a resource to create value and wealth. Time is effectively used when time is used to achieve divine purpose. It is therefore a colossal waste of time to pursue things contrary to divine purpose. Man lives by purpose and not instinct. Purpose is the precursor of success. What then is the value of all the ever busy you if the ever busy you is not achieving divine purpose and success.  The model of Jesus Christ teaches on how to manage time effectively.  When it came to spending time, Jesus was conscious of His purpose. Jesus used time to achieve divine purpose and that purpose guided what He did, who He spent time with and what He spent time on. Please see John Chapters 12 verse 27, 9 verse 4, 4 verse 34 and 17 verse 4. He glorified God by finishing the work He was assigned to do on earth.

Celebrate Your Divinely Elevated Status

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

God is bringing you out of the valley of irrelevance and obscurity into the mountain top of limelight and relevance. The dust and ash heap positions of life are obscure positions of life that only God can lift a person from. These are positions of darkness, without light and where a person is unknown. However, when light shines upon a person in obscurity, the person gets into limelight and fame.
The primary purpose of Jesus’ death is the redemption of man from sin. Additionally, the death of Jesus facilitates divine repositioning from the miry clay and dung hill positions of life to royalty and priest hood. Jesus Christ shed His blood to wash us from our sins. Sin pollutes the soul, leaves stain on the soul and degrades a person’s status in life. The only way to remove such stain and corruption is through the blood of Jesus Christ. He shed His blood for our purity and redemption and through that redemption made us kings and priests to God. Once you are cleansed of sin you have changed your erstwhile low status to become kings and priests as the blood of Jesus Christ takes you higher. There is therefore  a connection between being redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and being moved from the low social strata of life to royalty where you reign, rule and have dominion. Please see Revelation Chapter 5 verses 9 to 10. Once you are redeemed, you reign because kings are men with authority. Kings rule by their word – Ecclesiastes Chapter 8 verse 4. Additionally, priests administer the word of God. Therefore, exercise dominion with the word of God and function as a king in your domain.

Created to Succeed 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

In the book of Luke Chapter 10 verse 19, the Bible records that God has given authority to His children to trample on snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy and that none of the power of the enemy can hurt the children of God. Fantastic! But why would God make such a promise? He created you to succeed. If He created you to fail, He will not give you the authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and all the power of the enemy which represent the various challenges in life that make you want to throw in the towel, give up and opt for failure.

Beloved, you are divinely designed to succeed. Therefore, unpack and throw out the devil’s filthy garments of failure comprising all the lies he has whispered to you as to why you should fail. They are lies because he did not create you. Secondly, those lies are designed to make you turn against God so that you walk in opposition to the Person Who created you to succeed and is the only One can help you succeed.

Do Not Play God

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

How? Do not superimpose your knowledge and understanding of God and His ways on people. God relates with and deals with peoplle at diverse levels of knowledge and understanding. If for instance God is teaching people to trust Him for provision, it is not in your place to provide for them if God does not direct you to do so. This is applicable in every area of life.

While it is scriptural to give to the poor and the needy, to support the work of the kingdom, it is also important to be conscious of the leading of God so that you do not attempt to play God in the lives of people and consequently incur the wrath of God on yourself. This is because God alone is God and He created the people you are attempting to play God over. Besides, God alone knows the entire makeup of these people and therefore knows the best approach to get them to where He wants them to be. Attempting to play God in their lives could therefore tantamount to working against God plans, purposes and timing in their lives. Moses attempted to play God in the lives of the Israelites in Egypt. The same Israelites opposed him and made known how he killed an Egyptian who was beating an Israelite. That led to the self exile of Moses in Midian for forty years.

Pursue Your Own Vision

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Every one created by God was created for a purpose and that purpose is the launchpad to greatness, success and prosperity. Divine purpose accelerates your path to divine wealth and the top. Therefore, find the divine purpose for your life and pursue it. If you miss out on divine purpose, you will miss a lot as money comes by doing the will of God for your life that is walking in His divine purpose for your life. Every profession has its own goldmine. So stop pursuing other people’s visions and pursue your own vision.

You actually undervalue your uniqueness by doing what other people want you to do and not what God wants you to do. If you follow your Maker’s prescription, you will be successful and wealthy.

It is also important that you focus on your area of strength – that is to say that you expend energies on what you enjoy doing effortlessly that is spiritually, physically, mentally and financially rewarding. This usually relates to the talent God deposited in you at birth and which you have been using unconsciously. But a more conscious use of it will alert you to the many uses it can be put to and how you can refine it to high accent. It is already in you. All you need do is to tap into it and you will function in it without maximum effort.
