One of the
cardinal key of success is to know God’s will for your life. Please see
Colossians Chapter 1 verse 9 and Ephesians Chapter 1 verse 9. God’s will is a
mystery. This is because it is often difficult to understand. Though
mysterious, God has made provision to unravel His will.
One of such ways is through
the communion. Please see Luke Chapter 24 verse 35, and 1st John
Chapter 1 verses 1 to 3. There are critical issues in a person’s life that
cannot decided with the five senses. You need the revelation knowledge of God
to decide critical issues in your life. The will of God for a person’s life
cannot be determined with the naked eyes. It takes the revelation knowledge of
God. To do so is a function of knowledge – John Chapter 5 verse 19, Matthew
Chapter 6 verse 10. Revelation guides actions, decisions, and choices that a
person makes in life. You do not live by instinct as a child of God – Luke
Chapter 24 verse 30 to 31, 34, 35, Matthew Chapter 28 verse 26, Genesis Chapter
3, Psalm 90 verse 8, Hebrews Chapter 4 verse 13, Ephesians Chapter 5 verse 13,
John Chapter 5 verse 19.
Another way is through the revelation
knowledge of the word of God. Please see John Chapter 8 verse 32, Luke Chapter 24 verses 33 and 45.
God’s perfect will
denotes His master plan – Ephesians Chapter 1 verses 9 to 11, Romans Chapter 12
verse 2.. God’s perfect will is absolute and unchangeable - Psalm 33 verse 11,
Matthew Chapter 6 verse 10. When things
happening in your life on earth are consistent with what is happening in heaven;
then you are in the perfect will of God. The perfect will of God is the place
where God wants you to be. And when you call on God here, He answers you. God’s
will has to be acceptable before it is perfect.
Surprisingly, God
allows people to stray into the imperfect or permissive will as a response to
their rebellion and rejection of God’s perfect will. God is never pleased with
imperfect will. However, He gives time for repentance because there is perfect
judgment at the end of the day. Permissive will is never God’s first choice for
anyone. God expects us to therefore know His will – Ephesians Chapter 5 verse
17. A person who does not understand the will of God will be foolish in
thoughts, desires, decisions and actions. Staying in God’s imperfect will rob
you of the heightened use of your gifts and personality – Psalm 143 verse 8,
Ephesians Chapter 1 verse 9, Colossians Chapter 1 verse 5. The Israelites
entered into God’s imperfect will when they requested for a king so they could
be like other nations – 1st Samuel Chapter 8 verses 1 to 22, Numbers
Chapter 22 verses 24. God warned Balaam not to go with Balak. Numbers Chapter
31 verse 8, Psalm 106 verse 15, Mark Chapter 10 verses 2 to 5, Isaiah Chapter 5
verse 22.
It is your responsibility to ascertain God’s
perfect will for our lives. If you walk according to the teachings of Jesus
Christ in the Bible, you will walk in the centre of God’s perfect will. God’s
perfect will for you is contained in His written word; the Bible. God’s will
has to do with life and death. God wants to guide you. You must follow His will
– Hebrews Chapter 13 verses 20 to 21.
Beloved, align or realign
what is happening in your life with the will of God. Only God can plan your
life. No man, not even Pastors and co including you can. Please see Jeremiah Chapter 10
verses 23 to 24, Proverbs Chapter 20 verse 24. God equips His people to do His perfect
will. God wants you to work with His master plan. There is a step by step
guidance. Allow God to direct you and you will not miss it in Jesus mighty
name. You will be excellently positioned in the perfect will of God. You will fit into the purpose which God designed for you.
Please pray the following prayer. Father, let your
will be done in my life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Pray that you will live every
day of your life to please your Lord – Joshua Chapter 21 verse 45.
