Success does not fall on anyone like a bag of
cherries. It is also not a catch phrase to be thrown around. Success comes by
being engaged in divine purposes that over a period of time built and enhanced.
Every vision or idea is a function of capacity. That
is to say that capacity precedes the implementation of every idea or vision. For
every assignment, there must be relevant capacity from heaven to carry out the
task. This is because visions are driven on the basis of capacity and not
passion. Passion is not a substitute for capacity as a lack of capacity will
show up in capacity gaps as you implement your ideas or vision without adequate
capacity.
A person’s capacity acquired or received is a
measure of a person’s gifted ability to perform a task or assignment. Therefore,
always evaluate your capacity to midwife a vision or assignment to a successful
end. Have sufficient capacity before embarking on implementation. If you
discover that you lack capacity, or your capacity requires strengthened then be
willing to put your vision on hold until you have sufficient capacity to
midwife the vision. It is a misconception to think that capacity comes with the
vision. The vision comes and then you receive the capacity to implement the
vision by beginning a process of capacity acquisition through capacity building
and strengthening activities based on your capacity evaluation. Please see Luke
Chapter 14 verse 28.
Capacity can be built by the anointing, education,
skills acquisition, mentoring programs, etc. The anointing confers special
skills. The anointing is the Holy Spirit at work to help you accomplish purpose
and considering that success is the ability to fulfill divine purpose, you definitely
need the anointing. The anointing will give you visibility and all the
blessings you require for extraordinary success. A case in point is in 2nd
Chronicles Chapter 1 verse 10.
Jesus Christ mentored the twelve apostles and asked
them to wait to be empowered by the Holy Spirit before launching out to start
the early Church. They complied and were capacitated for this assignment that
birthed the Church. Please see Acts Chapter 1 verses 4 to 9. Elijah mentored Elisha;
the Apostle Paul mentored Timothy, Titus, John Mark and a number of other
people who served in the numerous Churches he planted in his first and second
missionary journeys. A study of the book of Acts will give you further insight.
Only God knows the extent of His purposes in your
life, therefore He alone knows the capacity you require to fulfill the purpose.
Therefore, get empowered through the acquisition of adequate capacity for the
work God calls you to do. See you at Success Street. Shalom.
