Majesty 2

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Mighty God, Eternal Rock of Ages
King of kings and Lord of lords
I bow before You for You are high and lifted up
None compares to You, Lord
In wisdom, power, majesty
You reign and reign and reign
In the heavens, in the earth, beneath the earth
In the valleys, the waters
In the affairs of humanity
You are the Governor amongst the nations
Who can compare to Your awesome power and presence

Mighty God, Creator, Healer
Everlasting Father, El-Shaddai
I AM WHO I AM
Shekinah glory
Savior, Redeemer, Justifier, Sanctifier
You saved me, rescued me
So I can sing your praises at all times
Jehovah Adonai
Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent
All sufficient God, glorious in holiness
Fearful in praises
You are worthy of our praises

Man of war, Lion of the tribe of Judah
Mighty in battle
You deserve the praise
For there is none like You
Hallelujah

It is Christmas! Give God Thanks

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah Chapter 9 verses 6 to 7.

What a time of the year to give God quality thanks. It is Christmas, a time when Christians celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ Who gave himself for the salvation of humanity. What a better time to thank God than now, for sacrificing His only Son so that you and I can be saved and delivered from all forms of satanic shackles.

God is great, awesome, glorious, faithful, loving, forgiving and very generous. Beloved, God is worthy to be praised and He deserves your thanks because on a daily basis, He loads you with benefits. Give Him thanks! Give Him thanks!! Give Him thanks!!! Besides, God loves you and kept you till now for reasons beyond your immediate comprehension. That alone should stir your heart with great thanks to God who is still watching over you to give you an expected end.

Can you imagine!   You enjoy so much goodness from God on every day of each year.

Additionally, the Bible records that the steps of the righteous are ordered by God. Give thanks to God who daily orders your steps into His goodness and abundance for your life.

Cash in Opportunities 2

Characteristics of the Blind Man

The blind man who sat by the road begging was positively inquisitive and asked the right questions. Please see verse 36 of Luke Chapter 18.

His hearing abilities were top notch. They had been trained to hear and decipher sounds in order to make the distinction between the footstep of one person and several persons. He heard a multitude passing by. His heightened hearing abilities greatly compensated for his visual impairment. He could therefore make distinctions by and from the sounds he heard. But he did not stop here. He also put other functional parts of his body to great use.

He used his voice judiciously to inquire about what was happening in his immediate and remote surroundings. That probably explains how he got to know about Jesus and the great miracles Jesus was performing. The blind man also used his voice to make demands or requests that would bring about positive transformation to his life. He cried out to Jesus to have mercy on him and significantly refused to be silenced by the people around him who urged him to be quiet. The judicious and positive use of his voice made Jesus pay attention as the Bible records that Jesus stood still and commanded the blind man to be brought to Him.

Again, the blind man knew what he wanted and was prepared for the moment. Jesus would not pass by him every day so why not make the most of the moment – take advantage of the great divine opportunity to request the restoration of his sight.

Beloved, it is indeed true that when preparedness, especially great preparedness meets with divine opportunity; great success is usually the outcome. Some biblical examples include Joseph, Daniel, Nehemiah, David, the virtuous woman, and many others. The blind man could have requested for alms, something he probably did everyday but definitely not at this moment because somehow, the blind man recognized that the Person he was standing before was greater than alms and had much more than to give to him. Jesus would give him his sight and with his sight restored, he would live a dignifying life free of begging for alms. So the blind man asked Jesus to restore his sight and Jesus willingly and lovingly did.

Be More Proactive

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Rise up early – a great while before dawn to prepare. All the amazingly successful biblical characters always rose up a great while before dawn to spend quality time with God, plan and prepare for the day. The quality time spent with God meant greater illumination of their minds. Please see Psalm 119 verses 105 and 130. This also enabled them to receive divine blueprints for the day, days, weeks, months year etc. with such blueprints, they literally ran vigorously with the vision; garnered support as well as other resources required accomplishing the vision. Please see Moses, Joshua, the virtuous woman, Jesus Christ.

Prepare even for the next second. Preparation is central to maximizing opportunities. When preparation meets opportunity, the rest is history as success comes in leaps and bounds. You make hay when the sun is shining and not when snow is falling. You also strike when the iron is hot and not cold.

Always anticipate people, events and situations so that you can proffer solutions ahead of time. Jesus Christ knew that Peter would be tested by the enemy and Peter would fail yet Jesus prayed for Peter so that Peter would become a different person after the test. Significantly, the same Peter who denied Jesus Christ thrice led the early Church after he was strengthened on account of the prayers Jesus prayed for him.

Do not shift blames. Accept responsibility and repent and God will restore you. David acknowledged his sin. He did not blame beautiful Bathsheba for seducing him. God forgave him and restored him.

Do not wait for events and people. Rather, preempt people and events through prophecy – by prophesying the word of God.

The Greatest

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

He was born in a lowly manger
Announced by angels
Visited and celebrated by wise men from the East
Dedicated in the temple
Recognized by Spirit led Simeon and Anna the prophetess

Baptized by John the Baptist
Tempted by the devil but overcame

Preached and taught kingdom principles
Performed several miracles

Nailed to the cross
Died and resurrected
So that you and I can be saved.
His name is Jesus Christ
The reason for Christmas

Celebrate the Greatest
Love the Greatest
Worship Jesus
As you celebrate Christmas

Thank You Lord 2

 Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Shall I sacrifice a thousand bullocks like Solomon?
They will not be enough
Shall I build You Churches, orphanages and hospitals?
Shall I build You hostels for the homeless?
And forget or even refuse to thank You
They will be worthless pieces of architecture

Shall I be a voice for the voiceless?
Despised, hated and imprisoned?
Give my body to be burnt for the gospel?
Sing like angels, dance all day for You?
Yet, I do not say thank You
Because I believe it is my power?

God, I love You
Appreciate Your extravagant grace in my life
Thank You for Life, salvation, mercies
Forgiveness of sins, Healings
Love, Compassion, mighty deliverances
Promotions, Favor, Honor
I love you, Lord; Thank You

Travel Light

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

Focus on God’s plans and purposes for your life. The ability to focus is a grace from God to function in a divine assignment for a season. Do not allow your thoughts to wander. Do not be controlled by other people’s needs as they may give you a different direction from the one you should be headed in. also, and quite critical, please ignore the distractions from the kingdom of darkness through any of his cohorts and agents. Mum is the word. Keep your mouth shut in Jesus mighty name.  No matter what, do not bring the war God has given you victory over in the realm of the spirit into the physical. Avoid quarrels, arguments, etc. Ignore accusations and let God continue to fight for you. Focus on your prayer requests and you have it.

Forgive those who hurt you. Do not hold grudges against anyone. Please see Matthew Chapter 6 verses 12 to 14, Hebrews Chapter 12 verse 2, Matthew Chapter 5 verse 44, Luke Chapter 22 verse 56 to 62, Mark Chapter 16 verse 7, Luke Chapter 23 verse 43, and Romans Chapter 8 verse 28.

Be obedient because obedience brings God’s blessings. Please see Isaiah Chapter 1 verse 19.  Obedience took Ruth from gleaning to ownership of a field. Ruth obeyed Naomi’s instructions and became the wife of Boaz. Please see Ruth Chapter 3 verses 4 to 5. It is better to obey God than run around with sacrifices. King Saul is an example of someone whose obedience was always in question. He lost the throne. Please see 1st Samuel Chapter 15 for details.

Thank You Lord

In the midst of the storms
Raging, fierce and even disastrous
You rescued me, saved me and kept me
In Your Hands

As famine ravished the land
And hunger redesigned faces and bodies
You gave abundant provision
That I neither deserved nor earned

Diseases swept across regions
Maimed and killed quite a number
Young and old, strong and wealthy
But you safeguarded and healed me
