Stand on the Promises of God 1

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The promises of God which are yea and amen in Christ Jesus are not in the stratosphere. They are within easy reach in the word of God. However, these promises can only be identified through a diligent study of the word of God. Do you want to know the promises of God concerning you? Then speedily commence a diligent study of the word of God to unravel the promises which cover about every area of life; some of which are:

Healing and Divine Health
I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus Chapter 15 verse 26) as well as other Scriptures on healing are clear pointers that it is the will of God for you to be in divine health at all times. God takes the trouble to heal you and keep you in divine health because He wants you to succeed. He wants to showcase you to the world which is why He does not allow you to be affected by sicknesses and diseases, be bedridden and incapacitated for success. A sick body and mind cannot succeed. That is why God ensures that you are mentally whole and capacitated to reflect on Philippians Chapter 4 verse 5. That is also why God keeps you physically strong, whole and capacitated to move about, engage in physical and mental as well as spiritual activities that generate money. God loves you. He says He will heal you of any disease the enemy may want to afflict you with. Please see Psalm 103 verses 3 to 4, Exodus Chapter 23 verses 25 to 26.

Feast on the Word of God

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The beginning and end of success is the word of God engrafted in your spirit, soul and body. God gives and teaches us His divine principles for holy living in His word, and through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. As we learn, internalize and abide by these principles stated in His word, they become part and parcel of us, directing and guiding us, alongside the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. That is why the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 119 verse 105 that your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

The word of God is dynamic and has power to transform a person on a daily basis. The answer to every challenge is in the word of God therefore fill your heart with the word of God and meditate on the word of God. If you hear instructions from God, trial and error will no longer be your portion in Jesus mighty name.  Please see Romans Chapter 12 verses 1 to 2. Therefore, feed on the word of God and you have wealth, the hidden riches of darkness stated in Isaiah Chapter 55 verses 1 to 5.

God watches over His word to perform His word and not out fears, worries and anxieties. At the beginning of the year, I asked God to help me sell a certain number of copies of my books, quite a large number determined by the Holy Spirit. Thereafter, I would always check my sales report to see if I was making that quantity of sales. A number of times, I was worried because I required the money from book sales to pay my bills. But somehow, God kept paying my bills even before they were due in addition to giving me material things that made people think I had so much money. As I reflected on why there were no sales, the Holy Spirit made me understand that I was looking at the wrong place, visiting the sales report dashboard. He told me to look at the word of God, His precious promises to me concerning book sales in large numbers. He told me that was where I would make the sales as I daily thanked God for His unfailing Word, meditated on that Word and prophesied the Word over my books. I then realized why I had not made sales and also why I had not experienced victories in some other areas. Rather than look at the word of God and internalize the promises of God and make them real in my life; meditate on them and prophesy them, I was looking at the circumstances that assailed me which were really nothing to God. I was foraging on dirt – anxiety, fears, worries, suspicion when my focus should be on God and His word that does not return to Him void. I repented before God and asked Him to help me look at His word, and to believe His word as well as prophesy His word over my life and situation in Jesus mighty name.

Supersede Expectations

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

You can supersede expectations, the expectations of people, your industry as well as the expectations you set for yourself if only you will look up to God for help to direct you in as many ways as you require help. God is always in the business of teaching His children to profit. Please see Isaiah Chapter 48 verse 17. As He instructs you in the way to go, I advise that you internalize His counsel and work with them. Nevertheless, here are some tips on how to supersede expectations gleaned from time spent with the Holy Spirit.

You can supersede expectations by looking after your field and exercising dominion in your field. The question then is what does it take to exercise dominion in your field? By knowing your field perfectly - for instance, get to know what goes on in your field as well as what needs to be done differently. Be sufficiently informed about your field so that you have superior knowledge that will make you superior to other people in your field. Do not be monotonous and therefore easily predictable. Learn something new and add to what you already know. That will help you to innovate on what is happening in your field as well as help you remain in the field. You will not then move from your field because it is happening in other fields. Rather, you will succeed and make an impact in that field based on your understanding of who you are and what you are capable of doing, knowing that other peoples fields are not your God given field for you to exercise dominion. Significantly, there is no best business, profession or field in the world as every business has its successes and failures.
