Stand on the Promises of God 1

Written by Uyoyou Christiana Charles-Iyoha

The promises of God which are yea and amen in Christ Jesus are not in the stratosphere. They are within easy reach in the word of God. However, these promises can only be identified through a diligent study of the word of God. Do you want to know the promises of God concerning you? Then speedily commence a diligent study of the word of God to unravel the promises which cover about every area of life; some of which are:

Healing and Divine Health
I am the Lord that healeth thee (Exodus Chapter 15 verse 26) as well as other Scriptures on healing are clear pointers that it is the will of God for you to be in divine health at all times. God takes the trouble to heal you and keep you in divine health because He wants you to succeed. He wants to showcase you to the world which is why He does not allow you to be affected by sicknesses and diseases, be bedridden and incapacitated for success. A sick body and mind cannot succeed. That is why God ensures that you are mentally whole and capacitated to reflect on Philippians Chapter 4 verse 5. That is also why God keeps you physically strong, whole and capacitated to move about, engage in physical and mental as well as spiritual activities that generate money. God loves you. He says He will heal you of any disease the enemy may want to afflict you with. Please see Psalm 103 verses 3 to 4, Exodus Chapter 23 verses 25 to 26.

Divine Provision
God has immense, overwhelming and abundant capacity to supply all your needs according to His riches in gory by Christ Jesus. Please see Ephesians Chapter 3 verse 20, Philippians Chapter 4 verse 19 and Psalm 23. God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus, which is His glorious riches which have been given to you in Christ Jesus. Please see 2nd Corinthians Chapter 8 verse 9. It is therefore not by your strength or hard or smart work but from His glorious riches given to you in Christ Jesus.

Clothes, shoes, accessories, etc are bought to be worn and not stored away for showcasing or wearing sparingly so that they do not get old and worn out. Food items are bought to be cooked and eaten and not to be eaten sparingly so that they are not exhausted. Beloved, God’s myriad blessings to you are inexhaustible. That is why God blessed you with whatever you own presently so that you can use them for His glory. Therefore, use your clothes and accessories as they will always be replaced. When your clothes, shoes, etc become too small or tight or even old, do not patch up or resort to begging or borrowing or coveting. Just look up to God. He will provide all you need, including toiletries, school fees, food, water, whatever it is you need. Also, share whatever resources God places at your disposal with as many people that God brings your way for you to bless. He will always provide for you beyond what you expect. Please see Psalm 23, Isaiah Chapters 41 and 43, Matthew Chapter 7 verses 7 to 8, Philippians Chapter 4 verse 19.

Divine Protection
Whatever the forces of darkness (represented by the devil and his cohorts) design against you cannot prosper in the mighty name of Jesus Christ because God clearly states in His Word that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper. Please see Isaiah Chapter 54 verse 17, Numbers Chapter 23 verse 23 and Isaiah Chapter 8 verses 9 to 10. The enemy through their evil enchantments, incantations, spells, curses, evil conspiracies cannot stop you from succeeding in the plans and purposes of God for your life. They attempted all kinds of entrapments against Joseph to stop him from becoming a global leader of his day. But every one of their wiles helped to move Joseph closer to his dream and success until Joseph eventually connected to Pharaoh, significantly from prison where the enemy safely assumed that Joseph would be forgotten completely and the evil words spoken by his brothers against him would come to pass. But because, no one speaks and it comes to pass when God does not permit it (Lamentations Chapter 3 verse 37), the evil words spoken by Joseph’s brothers (Genesis Chapter 37 verse 19) did not come to pass. In like manner, no evil word spoken by the enemy or any one of his cohorts against you shall see the light of day in Jesus mighty name.
