God’s divine visitation is for the purpose of
enriching, blessing and expanding as well as restoring the fortunes of His
people.
It is significant to note that God visits at His
appointed time. Please see Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 verses 11, 17, 1 to 8, Psalm
102 verse 13, 105 verses 9 to 22, Genesis Chapter 15 verses 13 to 16, Exodus
Chapter 12 verses 40 to 41, 51, Jeremiah Chapter 29 verses 10 to 14, Daniel
Chapter 9 verse 2, 10 verse 1, 2nd Chronicles Chapter 36 verses 20
to 23, Ezra Chapter 1 verses 1 to 11, Isaiah Chapter 45 verses 1 to 4, 13.
He visited Zacharias at the appointed time (my words
which will be fulfilled in their own time). Please see Luke Chapter 1 verses 13
to 20, note verse 20b. See also Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 verses 1 to 17, note verses 1, 11 and 17;
Jeremiah Chapters 29 verse 10;, 27 verse 22, Psalm 102 verse 13, Genesis
Chapters 18 verses 10 to 14, 21 verse 1, Habakkuk Chapter 2 verses 2 to 3,
Psalms 65 verses 9 to 11; 17 verse 3, Exodus Chapters 3 verses 16 to 17; 4
verse 31, to release them from slavery in Egypt and lead them to Canaan, bless
and expand them.
God also visits for the purpose of expansion and
enlargement. Please see 1st Samuel Chapter 2 verse 21 where He
visited Hannah and Samuel was born; and much later his other siblings followed
suit.
Yet another reason God visits His people is for the
purpose of redemption and restoration of man’s original position with God. This
is to remove whatever limits came upon humanity on account of the fall in the
Garden of Eden. Please see Luke Chapter 1 verses 68, 78. In this very
significant visit, God brought salvation to the world.
Other reasons for God’s divine visitation include
restoration of life, additions, expansion (Luke Chapter 7 verse 16) as well as
restoration of abundance to the people of God. There was bread in the land and
the famine that drove Naomi’s family to Moab was over. Please see Ruth Chapter
1 verse 6.
The biblical Sarah, wife of the Patriarch Abraham
experienced expansion, enlargement, and laughter when she gave birth to Isaac
in her old age after many years of bareness. Please see Genesis Chapters 21
verses 1 to 3; 18 verses 10 to 14; 17 verses 15 to 19.
God visited Nain in the person of Jesus Christ and the
dead son of the widow of Nain was restored to life. God’s divine visitation
brings life and restoration of life and hope to dead situations.
The desolation and
utter hopelessness represented by the very many and very dry bones in the valley was lifted and changed to life
and hope when God visited through the Prophet Ezekiel who prophesied the Word
of God into the situation. Please see Luke Chapter 7 verse 16 and Ezekiel
Chapter 37 verses 1 to 14.
Beloved, you can
also experience God’s divine situation today. How you may ask? Start from His
Word in the Bible! As you diligently read and study His Word, God will speak to
you; give you divine guidance and direction as well as intervene in whatever
areas that require His divine intervention in your life. Start now and God bless
you as you do so in Jesus mighty name. Shalom.
