Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the
morning.
What
you see and hear on a daily basis is capable of forming strongholds in a
person’s life. Please see Proverbs Chapter 4 verses 20 to 27. If what you see and hear everyday are
centered on suffering and poverty as a way of life that is associated with holy
living, then chances are you will overtime accept suffering and poverty as a
way of life. Beloved, do not accept suffering as a way of life. It is not the
will of God for your life. The will of God for your life is for you to enjoy
life to the full in Christ Jesus. Suffering is not, has never been and will
never be a sign or symbol of righteousness. God’s righteousness is never
reflected through poverty. God’s righteousness is reflected in holy living
according to the word of God. If it was poverty, God would never have given His
own the power to get wealth as recorded in Deuteronomy Chapter 8 verse 18.
Therefore,
drop the consciousness of lack, insufficiency, borrowing and begging. It is not
the will of God for you. It also does not glorify God. It is not the will of
God that you beg bread. Please read Psalm 37 verse 25. His will is that you are
amply supplied bread, more than enough to share with people as stated in
Leviticus Chapter 26 verses 9 to 10, Deuteronomy Chapters 8 verses 6 to 18, 15
verse 6 and 28 verses 10 to 13.
Significantly,
such a consciousness will limit you from daring to make wealth and keep you in
the chains of poverty. What you urgently require is a mental paradigm shift
from lack, insufficiency, borrowing and begging to sufficiency, overflowing
abundance, giving and generosity. Therefore, discard and do away with at the
speed of thought every lie from the pit of hell that God is the one activating
poverty in your life to teach you some lessons. It is a satanic stronghold that
should be destroyed immediately in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
The woman who was bent over for eighteen years was
afflicted of the devil. Please see Luke Chapter 13 verses 10 to 17. An
affliction is satanic bondage with no seeming escape route. That explains why
the woman was bent over for eighteen long years; no escape route. But when
Jesus Christ, the bondage breaker showed up on the scene, there was a way of
escape. Please see Isaiah Chapter 43 verses 17 to 19, 10 verse 27 and Nahum Chapter
1 verse 13.
Beloved, in God through Christ Jesus, there are
always exit doors out of afflictions. The woman with the issue of blood was set
free of the affliction of an unceasing blood flow of twelve long years which
drained her of financial and material resources; in addition to making it difficult
for her to invest in relationships. The day she had an encounter with Jesus
Christ and she took the bold step of touching the hem of Jesus’ garment, she
was set free from the affliction of twelve years.
The man at the pool of Bethsaida had become used to
the affliction of being bedridden for thirty eight years. In point of fact, it
had become like a second skin to him so he easily made excuses for being stuck
at the pool for so long. Like he told Jesus, he had no one to put him in the
pool and when he even attempted to get in the pool on his own; other supposedly
stronger people stronger than him always got ahead of him. Fortunately for the
man, Jesus had compassion on him and the affliction of thirty eight years that
had appeared to have no exit door came to an end. Please read John Chapter 5
verses 1 to 15 for details.
Afflictions are not identified by the length of time
of time they take though that can be a means of identification. But the major
means of identification is whether an exit door exists for the person being
afflicted to come out of that affliction. This is because the essence of
satanic afflictions is to shut every exit door out of the affliction. The woman
who was bent over was accustomed to being bent over for eighteen years and because
her body was already attuned to that position, the possibility of being
straightened up was very remote. The woman with the issue of blood had
exhausted her income and whatever resources she owned without being cured. So
even if there was a possibility of being cured by a medic anywhere, she had no
money to pay the medical bills. The man at the pool was physically
incapacitated; he lacked strength in his limbs; he also did not have anyone to
put him in the pool; he had been abandoned by all who knew him. Consequently,
he lost hope and had given up completely and therefore was not looking forward
to being healed but to being a statistic among the numerous sick and
incapacitated people at the pool.
But thank God, the Way Maker Who always makes a way
where it appears to be no way; Who always opens exit doors in unlikely places
using unlikely channels; afflictions no matter how intense and how long they
have stayed always give way to the exit doors created by God. Please read
Revelation Chapter 3 verses 7 to 8 and Isaiah Chapter 22 verse 22. Job was
afflicted on all sides and just when everyone had given up on him and even Job
had given up on himself; God opened His exit doors out of the afflictions of
Job and Job was restored. Please read Job Chapters 1, 5 and 42. The enemies of
Jesus thought they had closed the chapter on Jesus but unfortunately for them,
they did not know about God’s exit doors for Jesus. Pleases read Matthew
Chapters 27 verses 62 to 66; 28 verses 1 to 6 and 1st Corinthians
Chapter 2 verses 7 to 8.
Beloved, when what appears to be a challenge does
not eventually throw up the opportunities in the challenge that will bring
stepping stones to greater heights, then it is an affliction that should be
dealt with by the Spirit of God. May God always give you exit doors in the
mighty name of Jesus Christ. Shalom.
