Take Giant Strides

A sleeping giant who wakes up from slumber does not wake up to stare at the world. S/he wakes up rather to implement the tasks which are divinely assigned to him or her. It may take a while to rise from the bed of slumber but once the giant arises; with renewed energy garnered from the more than enough sleep; the giant takes on giant strides to get to destination as quickly as possible and accomplish within stipulated deadlines.

Giant strides may not necessarily be physical. They could also be spiritual, mental, financial, and whatever. Also, whatever form the giant strides may take, they are VERY VERY NECESSARY, RELEVANT and have to be taken URGENTLY NOW. DO NOT DELAY FOR A SECOND as those giant strides will leapfrog you to where you ought to be NOW so that you can move on speedily to God’s next destination for you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Spend quality time with God in Word study, praise, worship and adoration as well as in whatever else God wants you to do. Time spent with God is never wasted. Rather, it is time that is amply invested for very great returns from God. The wisdom and personal discipline of reading and studying the word of God, meditating on the word of God and prophesying the word of God when you should is what you should crave for instead of getting into discussions which do not add value to your life; arguments which lead nowhere; contention and strife designed to devalue and make you take backward steps in life; embark on self-destructive actions and utterances; reflect on wounds and hurts rather than meditate on the word of God; read and study non edifying literature as well as watch non edifying videos. Beloved, be disciplined in your spirit, soul and body as well as mental processes so that you can be like the children of Issachar who had an understanding of the times and knew what Israel ought to do at a specific divine timing in the history of Israel. That was a giant stride which led to the coronation of David as King over Israel.

Deepen your relationship with God. Also, deepen your relationship with the Holy Spirit because it is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord. In like manner, deep fellowship with God is the secret of fruitfulness of a believer.

Invest in the Presence of God in your life. How? By daily living in the fear of God in every area of your life and in whatever you do.

Your Feet Cannot Be Moved

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21, KJV 

God has the power and capacity to do what He chooses to do. God is able because all power belongs to God. Please see Psalm 62 verse 11. Therefore, your feet cannot be moved because God is the One Who planted your feet where they are. He therefore will not allow anyone whatsoever and circumstances to move your feet from where He planted them. Do not forget that all power belongs to God therefore He has the capacity and all the resources required to keep your feet immovable irrespective of how seemingly strong the opposition is. Please see Psalms 62 verse 11, 121 verses 1 to 8, 125 verses 1 to 3, and 21.

If the foundations of the earth set by God cannot be moved forever because God laid them, how much more then you, that God sacrificed Jesus Christ for? Please see Romans Chapter 8 verses 31 to 32. Jesus Christ Who is the Word of God (Revelation Chapter 19 verses 10 to 14) and the Son of God manifested in human flesh (John Chapter 1) Who put an end to the captivity of the human race through His sacrifice for sin and atonement by His blood on the cross. As the blood of Jesus Christ was shed on the cross, his body pierced and water flowed from his body; every accusation, every satanic label with which the enemy of the human race had access to you and could therefore hold you captive; all the accusations and satanic labels as well as whatever access the devil and his cohorts had to you were wiped out so that you can succeed in the plans and purposes of God for your life. Please see Colossians Chapter 2 verses 13 to 23, 3 verses 1 to 17.

You are an Achiever

You are fearfully and wonderfully made, that is say that you have the right appearance for YOU, specifically designed by God for you and you alone.

You are divinely wired to exercise dominion over every creation of God. However, you have to be rightly aligned with God through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ for you to do so. Please read Genesis Chapter 1 verse 28, Psalm 8 verse 6, Job Chapter 22 verses 28, Mark Chapter 11 verses 22 to 24, Luke Chapter 10 verse 19, Matthew Chapter 17 verses 20 to 21, Mark Chapter 16 verses 17 to 18, 20, Acts Chapter 1 verse 8, 3 verses 1 to 9, 5 verses 14 to 16, 8 verses 5 to 8, 14 verses 8 to 15, 19 verses 11 to 12.

You are divinely created to make and enjoy wealth. Please read Deuteronomy Chapters 8 verse 18, 15 verse 6 and 28 verses 11 to 12 and 2^nd Corinthians Chapter 8 verse 13. The intimidating walls of Jericho coupled with the strong securely locked gates were enough barricades and barriers to Israel’s progress to Canaan to access the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places which God deposited in Canaan for the Israelites. Fortunately for Israel, God is the Way maker Who always makes a way where there seems to be no way. Supernaturally and miraculously, the intimidating walls of Jericho alongside the securely locked gates came down in a heap so that the Israelites could move forward and progress to Canaan, unhindered. God has given you guaranteed access to divine treasures and riches – no bitterness, no restrictions, no opposition because every opposition no matter how strong and fierce is subdued in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Please read Isaiah Chapter 43 verses 1 to 3, 45 verses 1 to 3 and Psalm 107 verse 6. God has broken the gates of brass and cut the bars of iron in sunder. To uproot and destroy barricades and barriers so that you can access the treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places. SO GO FOR GOLD.

Additionally, the Lord is your Shepherd therefore you have everything you need. This is because the wisdom to navigate access to whatever you need is in God and you can always access that divine wisdom through the Holy Spirit, the greatest gift of God to you through Christ Jesus. So in Christ Jesus, you have everything, all your needs according to the riches of God in glory by Christ Jesus.

Identify Your Constituency 2

The Apostle Paul for instance had a clear sense of his vision and mission which was global and all encompassing – the Gentiles, Kings and the children of Israel. Please read Acts Chapters 9 verses 15 to 20, 22 to 30; 13 verse 47.  He commenced his mission at Damascus where he encountered Jesus, progressed to Jerusalem, Tarsus, Seleucia, Cyprus, Salamis, Perga in Pamphylia, Antioch in Pisidia, Iconium, Ephesus, Lystra and Derbe as well as the numerous places he went for missionary work. The Apostle Paul harvested souls; he planted Churches wherever he went amidst persecutions; significantly from the Jews who always incited people in these communities and cities against him and his team. None of the challenges such as health, financial and sometimes emotional challenges; coupled with the backsliding of certain brethren, as well as insincerity amongst some brethren discouraged Paul. Rather, he focused on finding solutions to the challenges; grew a thick skin to persecutions and learnt to leave immediately his life was at great risk. He also encouraged backsliding brethren to remain steadfast to Christ, challenged insincere brethren to be sincere to the faith they professed, earned his upkeep as a tent maker, prayed for divine health for himself and members of his team. The Apostle Paul truly identified his constituency; significantly by the leading of the Holy Spirit. He also paid significant attention to the peculiar opportunities and challenges of his constituency and responded to them wisely by the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Quite significant is the fact that the divine call is not even your decision. It is the decision of God that was made even before you were born. Please read Jeremiah Chapter 1 verse 5. The divine call therefore confers on you God’s authority and power over the nations that God called you to so that you can root out and pull down, to destroy and throw down whatever is not of God, whatever opposes God and contaminates the people and the nations. Additionally, God also empowers you to build and to plant the righteousness of God, the love of God, the wisdom of God, the prosperity of God, the kindness, compassion, mercy, forgiveness of God and His grace in the nations of the world He called you to. But if you operate outside of your constituency, you may have to work in your own strength and sadly, with really nothing to show for it.

Identify Your Constituency

You can identify your constituency by the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is to say that the Holy Spirit helps you to identify the people God sends you to. For instance, the prophet Jeremiah was sent to the nations of the world in his generation and significantly, Jeremiah worked within that constituency. Please read Jeremiah Chapter 1 verses 5 to 7. This also implies that God is the One Who defines the constituency which you work in and not necessarily you, your background, your ethnic group, nationality, race, economic power or status, religious affiliation, position in the Church, acceptance in the Church, etc. it is the decision of God and not yours. Therefore, prayerfully identify your constituency by the help of the Holy Spirit.

Once that is done, you will also need to identify the specific needs of your constituency which God in His infinite wisdom has capacitated you to meet. Then explore ways and forms of meeting the needs; again by the Spirit of God because is not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God and with God, nothing will be impossible. Please see Luke Chapter 1 verse 35 and Mark Chapter 10 verse 27.

Additionally, the content of the message you are sent to deliver to members of your constituency is very important. This is because your content must be specific and relevant to the needs of your constituency and because God is the only One Who truly knows and understands the needs of each constituency particularly the one He sends you to; the content of your message should be sourced from God so that you can actually impact members of your constituency. This also implies that your message should be what God commands and not what you desire, wish or love to say. Jeremiah was commanded to speak what God would have him say to his constituency. Even when Jeremiah tried to hold in the words of God because the words were not acceptable to the members of his constituency, he could not hold it in. he had to speak what God required him to speak. Please read Jeremiah Chapters 1 verses 7, 9 and 17; 20 verse 9. The prophet Jeremiah also knew and understood his constituency.
