God says it is time to emerge out of the doldrums of zero to poor,  to low self-esteem to divine self-esteem; humiliation and  shame to dignity prepared by God for you from the foundation of the world; lack into abundance, fear into boldness and great courage as well as determination;, superstition into knowledge which enriches and empowers.

Beloved, the year 2020 is not only strategic to you to flourish in God’s divine timing and purposes for your life, the year is also loaded with the goodness and mercy of God for your life fully paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, do not allow anyone, circumstances and situations to intimidate you for you must surely emerge, not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of the Lord of Hosts. He shall create divine pathways for you to emerge and soar in His divine plans and purposes for your life.

WELCOME TO YEAR 2020; EMERGE AND SOAR to the glory of God in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Shalom and God speed.

Allow God to Fight for You

God fights because He is Jehovah the Man of war, the Lord strong and mighty, the Lord, mighty in battle.  God fights in diverse ways through elements of creation, with the sword of His mouth – Revelation Chapters 2 verse 16, 1 verse 10, 2 verse 12, 11 verses 3 to 6, Significantly, God has numerous weapons at His disposal. He therefore deploys whichever best suits His purpose. After all, He is the Creator and Owner of everything created. Please read Genesis Chapter 1. Before anything existed, the Word had already existed alongside God because the Word is God; the Creator of everything that exist and will ever exist.

Importantly, God has a beautiful and unparalleled history of always fighting victoriously for His own. He fought for Abraham over seemingly powerful kings of his day who took Sarah away from him. Please Genesis Chapters 12 from verses 10 to 20 and 20. Please read Exodus Chapters 15 verse 3: 14 verses 13 to 14, 23 to 41, for in depth details of how God overthrew Pharaoh, his army and chariots in the red sea;  Psalm 24 verse 8, Joshua Chapters 10 verses 1 to 43, 11 verse 20 of how God fought for the Israelites against the nations who attempted to stop their progress to Canaan; 1^st Samuel Chapters 5 verses 1 to 12, 6 of how God afflicted the people of Ashdod, Gath and Ekron with tumors for receiving and hosting the Ark of God. Some of the people even died. It was only after they returned the Ark with trespass offerings that they were free. Even the men of Beth Shemesh, fifty thousand and seven of them were struck down because they dared to look into the Ark of the Lord, an act of great irreverence as they had no business whatsoever looking into the Ark of God. 

The Bible records that God thundered against the Philistine army from heaven, confused them because they rose against Israel while Samuel was offering burnt offerings for Israel. The Philistines were consequently overcome by the Israelites and were subdued to the point where they had to restore occupied cities to Israel. They also stayed away from Israel. Please read 1^st Samuel Chapter 7 verses 6 to 14. God also empowered David, an unschooled warrior to kill an experienced giant warrior like Goliath. Please read 1^st Samuel Chapter 17 for details.

Get Up

The word of God energizes a person to act in tandem with the will of God to achieve desired results to bring about transformation, healing, positive economic results, and abundance as in some of these biblical examples.

Peter’s fishing exploits in Luke Chapter 5 verses 1 to 11, John Chapter 21 verses 1 to 13.

The lame man at the pool in Bethsaida who was physically and to some extent spiritually and mentally incapacitated and immobilized to a spot for thirty eight years – in essence, the man stagnated to retrogression and for thirty eight years, he did nothing but lay on his sick bed and watched other people (this is real pathetic) receive healings and miracles as well as leave Bethsaida for good, to live a life, away from the great multitude of sick and incapacitated people at the pool in Bethsaida.

Those who were likely to leave healed and restored were those who had people to put them in the pool when the water was stirred by an angel. The lame man however had no one to put him in the pool and his physical condition was also a limitation. So daily, he watched others succeed while he stayed helpless, incapacitated and immobilized to a spot.

Beloved, pause and ponder a while what the mental processes and even spiritual condition of the lame man at the pool was. But all that hopelessness and watching the world go by came to an end when Jesus, the Word of God; Who always fights with the sword of the Spirit (Revelation Chapter 19 verses 13 to 16) intervened and released the prophetic word – Get Up!, pick up your mat and walk. Suddenly, the hopelessness, the incapacitation and immobilization of thirty eight years was gone. It disappeared at the instance of the Word of God and the man who had possibly been written off to a life of watch others succeed and had come to despair at his own inability to succeed was completely healed, restored and transformed to live a life of unending success victory, hope and freedom in Christ.

Designed to Succeed - Be You 2

You are divinely designed to be the sun behind the cloud, the game changer who is never dampened by circumstances. You are divinely designed to always find creative ways to navigate whatever stormy waters you run into so that you take your ever winning team into smooth sailing waters. Therefore, do not ever consider giving up despite the thunder storms, claps and fierce lightning strike. Somehow, somehow, still put on your brave charming smile, still strategize and the answers will come. It is not over for you. You will always succeed beyond your expectations; the expectations of people about you because God Who designed you to always succeed is always able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask or think of so that you always succeed.  Therefore, keep on the winning smile, the determined but measured steps to succeed because you are God’s success story being unveiled to the world.

However, you need to urgently break the alabaster box.

The story of the alabaster box is very interesting. The alabaster box was a very expensive box that contained precious sweet smelling oil. But as long as the box was intact, the fragrant oil was trapped in it, without blessing humanity. But the moment the alabaster box was broken and its beautiful contents filled the atmosphere and blessed humanity with the sweet smelling fragrance, it became a reference point in time and history as a blessing. Beloved, the world is waiting to breathe the beautiful fragrances you carry inside of you so that people can be blessed and you can become the reference point in time and history that God designed you to be from the very foundation of the world.

Receive Strength 3

The very many and very dry bones in the valley speaks of despair and hopelessness experienced by the children of Israel. But when God instructed the prophet Ezekiel to prophesy and breathe His life, power and strength into the very many dry bones in the valley- valley representing the nadir of hopelessness and dry bones representing in the valley representing utter despair and hopelessness; yet these same bones became a mighty army that rose out of the valley.

You also can become a mighty army if only you take on the strength of the Lord offered freely to you today by the Holy Spirit.

The Bible records that Judas and Silas (prophets in the early Church who were sent to the Church in Antioch) exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words. This implies that they spoke words which kindled hope and life and comfort and divine direction to the brethren. Like the prophet Isaiah, these New Testament also had the tongue of the learned (Isaiah Chapter 50 verses 4 to 5) and therefore spoke to the people in words and possibly tones taught by the Holy Spirit. Please read Malachi Chapter 2 verse 7. That probably explains why the brethren were strengthened.   Their words, definitely prophetic  brought edification, exhortation and comfort to the brethren as instructed by Scriptures in 1^st Corinthians Chapter 14 verses 3 to 5, 12, 19, 26; 2^nd Corinthians Chapter 13 verse 10, Ephesians Chapter 4 verses 11 to 16, 1^st Timothy 1 verse 3 and 1^st Thessalonians Chapter 5 verse 11. Words which inspire faith and also strengthen faith in keeping with the injunction of Scriptures to edify rather than condemn are words which bring strength to people. Please read Romans Chapter 10 verse 15, 14 verse 19, 15 verses 1 to 2,  Isaiah Chapters 52 verses 7 to 9, 61 verses 1 to 4, Luke Chapter 4 verses 17 to 19, Ephesians Chapter 4 verses 29 to 32, Colossians Chapter 4 verse 6.

Receive Strength 2

In Acts Chapter 3 verses 1 to 9, and 16,  note verse 7, the Bible records that the feet and ankle bones of the lame man received strength and the man who had never walked from birth leaped up, stood and walked and entered the temple with Peter and John, walking, leaping and praising God.

Beloved, God is awesome. This man was daily laid at the gate of the temple called Beautiful to ask for alms. So close to the temple yet he had never been inside of the temple. Daily, he saw people go into the temple to transact real business with God, worship God, ask God for forgiveness, cleansing, healing, deliverance, provision, promotion, wealth, favor, children, peace in their personal, family, community and national lives; academic excellence and prowess, military prowess and success, you name it; yet he had never seen the inside of the temple. He had never come close to transacting business with God yet God was so near, was with him, sitting by and with him all the time, waiting for him to transact quality business, real business with God but Mr. Lame from birth knew and understood only one business; unfortunately the business which did not move him from point A to B; but kept him stuck in a spot where he daily lived on and at the mercy of those whose hearts responded to his daily pleas for alms.

He lived for and on the mercy and compassion of people – without alms; he could probably never survive simply because there was no strength in his feet and ankle bones. His entire life was subject to the mercy and compassion of humans and knowing that humans are sometimes subject to fickle mindedness and vindictiveness, the man’s daily bread was not always guaranteed. So his mental processes were always fixated on alms; let someone bless me with, please forgive my choice of words – peanuts to go through today. That is just all that I need today. After all, I will be back here tomorrow and someone will give me what I need tomorrow.

Pathetic and tragic is the fact that his mental processes could not rise beyond asking for alms on a daily basis to survive each day. But all that came to an abrupt end when God through Jesus Christ working through the Holy Spirit in the Apostle Peter intervened in the situation.
